Veronica Eckhoff

Bio:

Veronica Eckhoff was born and raised in the USA and from an early age, has been passionate about the hospitality industry. With a foundation in operational experience gained from working in hotels and restaurants at a young age (Four Seasons, Marriott), she decided to study 'International Hospitality Management' at the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland. She later on expanded her expertise by completing a master’s degree in real estate finance at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a registered RICS valuer.

Before joining Aareal Bank in 2022, Veronica worked as a hotel real estate consultant at HVS (London) and CBRE (Germany) for seven years, where she was involved in a variety of hotel consultancy and valuation assignments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She later specialized on buy-side advisory, where she supported hotel owners through the entire acquisition process.

In her capacity at Aareal Bank, Veronica manages a portfolio valued at €1.1b and focuses on the origination, structuring and negotiation of hotel financings across Europe. Aside from hotels, she is also passionate about health and well-being, and music.
