Bio:
Based in Hilton’s corporate Dubai office, Tobias joined Hilton in 2020 and is responsible for the development and implementation of strategy relating to third‑party restaurants, bars and chef partnerships. He works closely with regional business developers and hotel owners to secure world‑class dining solutions across the portfolio. Recent partnership deals worth highlighting include the complete transformation of Hilton on Park Lane; the chef‑led development of Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch; a nearly 30,000‑sq‑ft private members’ club at Waldorf Astoria DIFC in Dubai; and multiple projects at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers.
Prior to joining Hilton, Tobias spent 10 years with HMSHost/Autogrill. In his last role, he led the company’s business and partnership development divisions across the APAC region from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where he lived for six years.
Fluent in multiple languages, including German, English, Dutch and French, Tobias is dedicated to lifelong learning. He holds a DBA from Hult International University, an EMBA from Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, and a BBA:HM from Hotelschool The Hague. He is passionate about connecting with culinary and hospitality experts and brands worldwide, forging long‑standing and meaningful relationships with specialists in the field.
Having lived and worked across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, global experience sits at the heart of his professional journey and continues to shape his approach to both work and daily life. His wife, Linh, is Vietnamese, and they have two children, aged 10 and 6.
