Bio:
Andrew Boshoff is the Chief Financial Officer for Global Hotel Alliance (GHA). In this role, he provides strategic direction for the global business, as well as leading the finance function, developing advanced data analytics capabilities and introducing new brands to the alliance. In addition, he acts as general counsel for the group to manage legal affairs and business risk.
GHA is the world’s leading alliance of independent hotel operators, providing a shared loyalty platform for 55 brands operating over 950 hotels in 100 countries. The GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme has 34 million members who spent more than US$3.2 billion in its hotels in 2025. GHA is a joint venture business owned by 4 major hotel operators, together with Oracle and ASMALLWORLD.
Prior to joining GHA as CFO in 2018, Andrew worked as an investment banker and strategy consultant for over 20 years at a variety of US and European firms, specialising in mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and business growth strategies in the hospitality and transport sectors. His clients ranged from major multinationals to early-stage businesses, private equity firms and high net worth individuals.
Andrew began his career as a corporate lawyer at Linklaters, based in London and Paris.
In addition to his corporate role, he also enjoys educating the next generation and has appeared several times as a guest lecturer in corporate finance at one of the world’s leading hotel schools, the École hôtelière de Lausanne, as well as regularly speaking at conferences and other industry events.
