Alexi Khajavi

Bio:

Alexi Khajavi is President of the Hospitality & Operational Real Estate Groups for Questex LLC. Khajavi, who brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience to his position, joined Questex in 2014 as senior managing director of Destination Develop, a new digital media platform covering global tourism industry investment opportunities at the destination level, and Destination Develop Investment Services, an in-house agency that develops marketing and matchmaking campaigns and services for destinations and private-sector businesses in tourism looking for investment.

Prior to joining Questex, Khajavi was senior vice president, global strategy, for MercuryCSC, a creative agency specializing in the travel and outdoor retail industries where he helped grow the firm’s billings four-fold and designed global marketing campaigns for iconic brands such as Orvis, Visit Montana, ExOfficio and Big Sky Resorts. Prior to MercuryCSC, he was one of the founding team members of the travel consortium Nature Group located in Central America and helped guide the airline and hospitality portfolio in being the fastest growing travel and hospitality company in Central America between 2003 and 2010.
